Adinkra symbols are not decoration — they are wisdom and philosophy.

Kente Stories in Motion is a hands-on cultural workshop where participants explore the meaning behind Ghanaian Kente cloth and Adinkra symbols, then bring those stories to life through creativity, collaboration, and design.

This experience blends storytelling, learning, and art in a warm, welcoming environment rooted in culture and community.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • A guided storytelling session on the history and meaning of Kente
  • An introduction to Adinkra symbols and their messages
  • A collaborative paper couture design challenge in small groups
  • A fun, expressive runway-style showcase where teams share the story behind their designs

No prior design or fashion experience is needed.
