Matue Couture products are crafted in Togo, where skilled artisans bring Simone's designs to life. The fabrics used in each collection are sourced from various countries across Africa, reflecting the continent's rich textile heritage. For the current collection, the fabrics originate from Ghana, showcasing the artistry and traditions of Ghanaian craftsmanship. This approach emphasizes Matue Couture's dedication to celebrating Africa’s cultural diversity while supporting ethical and sustainable practices.

We prioritize sustainability and ethical sourcing. We work closely with artisans and producers to ensure our practices are environmentally conscious and our workers are treated fairly.

5. How do I choose the right size?
We understand that every body is unique. That’s why we’re creating a custom sizing chart tailored to real women’s proportions—especially those underrepresented in traditional sizing systems. Once our chart is live, you’ll be able to compare your measurements to find your best fit. Until then, you can submit your measurements directly with your order for a more personalized fit.

6. Can I submit my custom measurements?
Yes! We encourage it. Each Matue Couture piece is made to order, so you’ll have the option to submit your bust, waist, hip, height, and other relevant measurements at checkout or through your account. This ensures a fit that celebrates your body as it is.

7. What if I’m between sizes or have a unique body type?
No problem at all. If you're between sizes or have specific proportions you'd like us to consider, you can include notes with your measurements, or reach out to us before placing your order. Our team is happy to guide you through the process.

8. Do you offer tailoring or alteration services?
Currently, we do not offer in-house alterations. However, since our pieces are made to order based on your measurements, they are designed to fit as close to perfect as possible. If additional adjustments are ever needed, we recommend visiting a trusted local tailor to ensure the piece fits your body just right.

9. How do I take my measurements correctly?
We’ll be releasing a video and printable guide that walks you through how to measure yourself at home with ease. You'll just need a measuring tape and a friend (or a mirror). If you're unsure, feel free to contact us and we’ll be happy to assist.

  • Clothing: We recommend dry cleaning to preserve the fabric and craftsmanship.
